That's WEEK in American Sign Language — and once you feel it, you'll never forget it.
Your dominant index finger starts at the heel of your upturned non-dominant palm and slides forward in a single stroke, right off the fingertips. Seven days, one motion.
Try it now: lay your left hand flat, palm up. Run your right index finger forward across it. Done. You just signed WEEK.
Usage: "My vacation starts next week." Pair WEEK with the time marker NEXT (signed before WEEK) and the tense is set — no extra words needed.
